Artefactos is an initiative of Miguel Limon, Artist and Educator based in Chicago, native to the Southside. Image-making, decolonial educational practice, youth work, and community-based transformation are key values for this pursuit. As a multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary entity, Artefactos seeks to engage the public through three main channels, (1) the Arts, (2) Education, and (3) Cultural Work. Pulling from various experiences in Administration and Education in Museums, Schools, Community Organizations, and Higher-education, bridging communities with resources and avenues for Liberation and a just society is the exigence for Artefactos.
